Homemade Simple Syrup

Simple syrup is ridiculously easy to make and since it lasts a while in the fridge, we can make one large batch and go back to it

Ingredients for 4 portions

Instructions

    Place a pot on the cooker. Add the sugar and 1.5 cups of water; mix thoroughly. Add the lemon, after boiling set the heat to medium and then cook for 8 minutes

    Add the vanilla. Keep the heat on medium and cook for 2 minutes.

    Turn off the heat and take the pot off the cooker.

  4. 4

    Let it cool down for 20 minutes and then pour inside a container.
