Wholesome Chicken With Brussels Sprouts

Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel. Place them on a plate and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of turmeric, ¼ teaspoon of black pepper, and a pinch of oregano. Rub the spices over the chicken.

Slice the onions and mince the garlic cloves. Keep them in separate containers.

Chop the sun-dried tomatoes and set aside.

Cut the Brussels sprouts into quarters and place them in a container.

Heat a pan on medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of oil. Fry the chicken breasts for about 6 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.

In the same pan, add the sliced onions and cook until caramelized. Add the Brussels sprouts and cook for 4 minutes.

Remove the chicken breasts and set them aside again. In the pan, add vinegar and crumble in the chicken stock cube. Mix and cook for 5 minutes.

Pour in ½ cup of water and add the sun-dried tomatoes. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Return the chicken breasts to the pan. Sprinkle with ⅓ teaspoon of oregano and ⅓ teaspoon of turmeric. Mix and cook for another 5 minutes.
