Combine almonds, pecans, hazelnuts, and walnuts in a food processor with an S-shaped blade. Pulse until the mixture is well combined.

Add the pitted dates to the food processor and pulse until finely chopped. Transfer to a small bowl and add butter, microwave for 2 minutes, and stir until well combined.

Add the crumbled nut mixture to the date mixture and mix thoroughly to form a dough.
